White Ferns wicket keeper Bernadine Bezuidenhout has announced her retirement from international cricket.
South African-born Bezuidenhout, 30, debuted for her nation of birth in 2014, before moving to Christchurch and eventually cracking the NZ team in 2018 against Ireland.
Health issues forced her to take a two-year hiatus from the White Ferns, but she returned n 2022, logging 16 one-dayers and 22 Twenty20s for New Zealand.
"It's been such a great ride," she said. "Playing for the White Ferns has been a huge privilege and honour, and it's left me with the fondest memories.
"The journey has taught me so much and I’ll be forever grateful to everyone who has been on the path with me."
Bezuidenhout finishes with an ODI batting average of 24.08 for the Ferns and 12.83 with a strike rate of 108.45 in T20s. She also had 15 catches and four stumpings across 38 appearances in both formats.
Her highest score in either form came against Pakistan last December. when she scored 86 in a one-dayer at Queenstown.
