Kartik Aaryan is gearing up for the release of his first ever sports drama Chandu Champion, a biopic of India’s first Paralympics gold medalist Mulikat Petkar. Days after releasing the film’s trailer at a grand event in Gwalior, the makers, on May 24, dropped the first song from the Kabir Khan directorial. The song titled “Satyanaas” has already become a fan favourite, with many calling it an “instant blockbuster”.

The song, sung by Arijit Singh, Nakash Aziz and Dev Negi, is penned by Amitabh Bhattacharya. The music is composed by Pritam. “Satyanas” features Kartik Aaryan and his friends dance inside and atop a train. The quirky track caught the attention of netizens who praised Arijit Singh’s versatility.

A user commented on the music video, “Finally a good fun music without sadness and romance after ages.” “Arijit Singh + Karthik Aryan = Masterpiece,” wrote another. One of Arijit Singh’s fans claimed, “There’s only one singer who can sing all types of songs, ‘Arijit Singh.'”

Chandu Champion is all set to hit the theatres on June 14. This will be Kartik Aaryan’s first film after the 2023 movie Satya Prem Ki Katha. Upon wrapping up the sports drama, Kartik shared a few BTS photos from the film’s set and revealed he didn’t eat sweets for over 1.5 years to prepare himself for the role. In the reality show Dance Deewane, Kartik during a conversation with Suniel Shetty said, “A lot of hard work has gone into this film for 2 years. And in fact, from 1.5 to 2.75 years, sugar was considered as poison. And we were not eating it.”
