Salman Khan is one of those superstars who arrives on the film set as per his own clock. Many of his co-stars and filmmakers have shared anecdotes of Salman’s tardiness but there was this one time when Salman showed immense patience on a film set and waited for four hours just so he could watch another actor give his shot. Director Farah Khan had previously shared that during the shoot of Om Shanti Om’s ‘Deewangi Deewangi’, Salman actually waited four hours in Shah Rukh Khan’s vanity because he wanted to watch Dharmendra perform.

The song featured 30 film stars in a cameo and Farah had meticulously planned the shoot of the song across many days just so she could make a song reminiscent of Naseeb’s ‘John Jani Janardhan’. Talking on the YouTube channel of IFTDA Official, Farah recalled, “There is a shot where Dharam ji is dancing, and Salman and others jump in. That wasn’t planned. They were standing behind the camera because they waited for four hours in Shah Rukh’s van to watch Dharam ji’s shot. And while Dharam ji was dancing, they just jumped into the shot.”

The portion of the song featuring Dharmendra had Shah Rukh Khan accompanying him. But eventually, Salman Khan and Saif Ali Khan jump in. Farah said that Saif wasn’t prepared for this and the surprise of the moment was evident on his face. “If you see Saif, he doesn’t know what is happening. He’s like ‘kya ho raha hai? (what is happening?)”

The song also featured Sanjay Dutt, Rekha, Rani Mukerji, Preity Zinta, Mithun Chakraborty, Kajol, Karisma Kapoor among many others. In the same chat, Farah had shared that even Govinda was a part of the song shoot but he arrived 24 hours late for the shoot. Farah shared that her unit kept waiting for Govinda and when she finally called him, she learnt that he was shooting elsewhere. Govinda then came the next day to shoot his portion.
