Shah Rukh Khan was reportedly been admitted to a hospital in Ahmedabad after suffering a heatstroke on Tuesday, as per PTI. As per reports, this happened when the actor was attending the IPL match between Kolkata Knight Riders and Sunrisers Hyderabad on Tuesday. This was the first playoff match of the ongoing season of IPL.

PTI shared a statement by the police that read, “Actor Shah Rukh Khan admitted to hospital in Ahmedabad apparently due to heat stroke.” Sources suggest that his wife Gauri Khan, and co-owners of KKR actor Juhi Chawla and businessman Jay Mehta visited him at the hospital

The actor attended the match with his children AbRam and Suhana. Actors Ananya Panday and Shanaya Kapoor were also in attendance during the match. The match was held at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad.

On Tuesday, SRK’s team KKR won the match against SRH and the actor was visibly excited after the win. After the win, Shah Rukh and his family took a victory lap in the stadium. One of the videos doing the rounds of the internet showed SRK walking into the frame of a post-match show that was being shot on the field. While Suhana and AbRam realised that they were walking into the frame, Shah Rukh walked in waving to his fans. But as soon as he realised that he had interrupted the show, he folded his hands and apologised. Shah Rukh Khan has been supporting his team throughout this season of IPL.

After a fantastic year at the movies in 2023 with two monstrous hits – Pathaan and Jawan, and the release of Dunki, SRK was scheduled to start his next film King with daughter Suhana Khan earlier this year. In an earlier interview, SRK had said that he would be playing an “age appropriate” role in the film. But more details on the film are still awaited.

More details awaited.
