Dia Mirza’s son Avyaan Azaad turned three on Tuesday. The munchkin celebrated his birthday surrounded by his mother’s friends, actors Soha Ali Khan and Neha Dhupia among others. Dia threw a jungle themed birthday party for her son in the garden of their Mumbai apartment.

Dia and her friends took to social media to share pictures from the party. Dia shared some cheerful pictures of her son as he turned three.

In one of the pictures, Neha Dhupia and Avyaan are seen playing with a dinosaur toy in a tent. Wishing the little one, Neha penned, “Happy birthday our Avyaan. Stay cute.. stay curious. We (red heart emoji) @diamirzaofficial @vaibhav.rekhi.”

Neha shared one more picture from the party where she is seen posing with “cool, cute, conscious, correct mamas”. The photo included Dia, Soha and their PR manager Radhika Nihalani.

Dia embraced motherhood in 2021 after tying the knot with Vaibhav Rekhi. However, Avyaan’s birth was not an easy one as he was born three months premature. He was diagnosed with necrotizing enterocolitis and had to go through a life-saving surgery. He was in the NICU for 90 days before Dia could take him home. Along with Avyaan, Dia is also co-parenting Vaibhav’s daughter Samaira from his first marriage.
