Rains may have played spoilsport during the IPL match on Monday but it certainly didn’t dampen Shah Rukh Khan’s spirits.  Despite heavy rain leading to the calling off of the Gujarat Titans vs Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) IPL 2024 match in Ahmedabad, superstar and KKR co-owner SRK’s love for his team remained unwavering. The actor visited Narendra Modi Stadium, spreading warmth and optimism among his players and staff.

In a heartwarming video shared on KKR’s official social media handle, Shah Rukh can be seen getting out of his car amid heavy rainfall. The faces of the people, featured in the video, which also included Jay Mehta, husband of Juhi Chawla and co-owner of KKR and their children, Jahnavi and Arjun, lit up when they saw SRK coming.

The Pathaan actor can be been heading to the dressing room where he embraces KKR mentor Gautam Gambhir, captain Shreyas Iyer, pacers Mitchell Starc and Harshit Rana, all-rounder Sunil Narine, and batter Rinku Singh.

The IPL match held between  KKR and Mumbai Indians (MI) at Kolkata’s Eden Gardens, on Saturday, was attended by SRK’s daughter Suhana Khan, her best friends Ananya Panday and Shanaya Kapoor, and brother AbRam Khan. While the superstar wasn’t present in the stands physically, following KKR’s victory, he joined in the celebrations over a video call with Suhana.

The KKR have already secured their spot in the IPL playoffs, currently topping the standings with 19 points in 13 matches. On the other hand, the Gujarat Titans sit in eighth place with just 10 points in 13 games and have become the third team to be eliminated, following Mumbai Indians and Punjab Kings.
