The Golden Globes serve as the official kickoff of red carpet season each year, setting the sartorial bar for the two-month parade of awards shows to come.

And Sunday night’s step-and-repeat at the Beverly Hilton in Los Angeles didn’t disappoint; nominees including Selena Gomez, Ayo Edebiri and Barry Keoghan heated up one of Hollywood’s biggest nights in shades of red, while high shine was the name of the game for Taylor Swift, Emma Stone and Julia Garner.

And those still mourning the end of the pink-tastic “Barbie” press tour were treated to another doll-inspired look from Margot Robbie, who chose to channel 1977’s Superstar Barbie for the evening.

Below, see all the best-dressed celebrities from the Golden Globes 2024 red carpet.

The Cinematic and Box Office Achievement nominee re-entered her “Reputation” era for the Globes, looking gorgeous in a glittering green Gucci gown accessorized with matching Christian Louboutin heels and a bevy of cascading diamond earrings from De Beers.

The overall effect was sultry, sophisticated and — dare we say it — just the right amount of serpentine.

Did you really think Robbie had run out of vintage Barbies to cosplay? This time around, the star of Greta Gerwig’s Mattel movie drew inspiration from Superstar Barbie in screaming pink Armani Privé sequins and a tulle boa to match.

Manolo Blahnik shoes and more than $3 million worth of Lorraine Schwartz jewels completed her spot-on ode to the 1977-era doll.

Edebiri earned her first Golden Globe Sunday, taking home the Best Actress in a Comedy trophy for her work in “The Bear” — and in this striking scarlet Prada paired with matching pumps, she certainly looked like a winner.

Boucheron tassel earrings were the ideal complement to her elegant ensemble.

Another of the night’s big winners — clinching Best Actress in a Comedy for her performance in “Poor Things” — Stone was a vision in this shimmering Louis Vuitton gown embroidered with pastel flowers and finished with a plunging neckline and high center slit.

The “Saltburn” nominee has become one of Hollywood’s best-dressed men over the past couple of years — and in this crimson Louis Vuitton suit done in the house’s signature Damier check, it’s safe to say he continued his hot streak.

His accessories were every bit as statement-making, with the actor opting for patent leather Christian Louboutin boots, several strands of pearls, an Omega watch and a single ruby earring.

The Best Supporting Actress winner (for “The Holdovers”) looked ravishing in this maroon Rodarte gown featuring a scalloped, sequined bust and fluttering peplum, which she matched with ruby jewels from Effy and Reza.

She may not have taken cues from Princess Diana’s personal style for Globes night, but the Aussie actress — who won Best Supporting Actress for playing the late royal on “The Crown” — still delighted with this Dior Haute Couture creation embroidered with silver discs.

For jewelry, she opted for a thorny ring and a pair of floral-inspired Dior Joaillerie diamond necklaces worthy of an English rose.

Rosamund Pike

Pike steals every scene in “Saltburn,” and turned plenty of heads on the Globes carpet too — in large part thanks to the “protective veil” she paired with her black lace bustier dress from Dior Haute Couture.

“I had an accident over Christmas actually. I had a skiing accident,” she told Variety. “So on the 26th of December my face was entirely smashed up and I thought I need to do something.”

While she’s now “healed,” Pike added, she “kind of fell in love with the look.” Same!

America the beautiful, indeed! The “Barbie” beauty’s heavily embellished and pearl-accented Dolce & Gabbana gown fit her like a glove.

The icing on the proverbial cake? A sprinkling of Harry Winston jewels, including a double-row diamond necklace and cascading earrings.

The “Rustin” nominee is always one of the sharpest dressers on the carpet, and we particularly liked how he played up this pearl-buttoned Louis Vuitton look with a pair of statement brooches.

Natalie Portman

The “May December” nominee was a walking work of art in this impressionist-inspired Dior Haute Couture dress in black featuring a shimmering floral landscape.

Portman smartly kept her jewelry minimal, opting for a pair of delicate De Beers diamond earrings and a single eternity band so as not to steal focus from her gown.

The “Ozark” favorite’s platinum ringlets were a perfect match for this plunging sequined Gucci gown worthy of Studio 54.

Bonus points for the complementary silver eye makeup, too.

Lenny Kravitz

The Best Original Song nominee looked as cool as ever in this cutout tuxedo jumpsuit from Alexander McQueen.

Pointy-toed Christian Louboutin shoes, Chrome Hearts rings, oversized shades and vintage ’70s gold mesh earrings added even more swagger — as if he needed it.

Natasha Lyonne

Leave it to Lyonne to take the right kind of risk on the Globes red carpet. We loved the sharp peaks and eye-catching fringe of this Schiaparelli number — not to mention how the “Poker Face” nominee’s fiery curls popped against the pale hue.

She described it as an “art piece” on the carpet, and she’s not wrong.
