The latest episode of The Great Indian Kapil Show welcomed special guests Sunny Deol and Bobby Deol. Known for their reserved nature and guarded private lives, the Deol brothers surprised fans by sharing personal anecdotes during the show, including stories of being disciplined by their mother, Prakash Kaur, during their childhood.

During the interaction, Bobby Deol revealed that despite being the elder brother, Sunny had never resorted to physical discipline. When Kapil asked him if Sunny has ever beaten him. Bobby responded by saying, “No, no. I get scared even by looking at his eyes.” When asked if his father Dharmendra ever hit him, he said, “Papa ne toh kabhi bhi nahi (Papa has never hit me). His eyes are just as powerful. Unka toh 20 kilo ka hath hai (His hand weighs 20 kilos).”

Archana then queried Bobby about how their parents managed to discipline him as a child. Sunny promptly interjected, stating, “Mummy se toh bahut mar khae hai (We have got beatings from mom).” Bobby Deol admitted to this and said, “She straightened me up.”

Speaking further about their mom, Sunny shared an anecdote about receiving beating from her even when injured while playing as a child. He recalled, “I used to get hurt and my mom would still beat me up with chappal and I would be bleeding.”

On the work front, Sunny Deol’s last cinematic appearance was in Gadar 2, while Bobby was last seen in Animal. Their upcoming projects include the Hindi film Baap and the Tamil film Kanguva, respectively. Additionally, Sunny is set to star in Rajkumar Santoshi’s Lahore, 1947, produced by Aamir Khan Productions.

Dharmendra has two sons, Sunny and Bobby, and two daughters, Ajeeta and Vijeta, with wife Prakash Kaur. He later married actor and politician Hema Malini; they have two daughters Esha and Ahana together. Prakash Kaur has stayed away from limelight and is rarely seen in public.
