Pregnant Sofia Richie shows off her bare baby bump as her due date approaches

It’s almost time for Sofia Richie to meet her baby girl.

The model, who is quickly approaching her due date for her first child with Elliot Grainge, gave fans a rare glimpse of her bare belly by posting a selfie Wednesday morning.

Richie, 25, wore a pale green matching pajama set in her mirror selfie, which she shared on her Instagram Story. She turned to the side to show off her growing baby bump as she covered her face with her phone.

“Morning 🥵,” she captioned the snap.

Richie announced her pregnancy with Grainge during a January interview with Vogue. The exciting news came less than a year after the couple’s April 2023 nuptials in France.

“She’s growing pretty fast, so [the due date] is a bit up in the air,” Richie told the publication.

She also revealed she kept the beginning stages of her pregnancy a secret to protect her inner peace.

“Pregnancy is really scary,” she reasoned. “I didn’t realize there are so many milestones you have to hit and so many tests you have to take. For me, it was really important to protect our mental health and our space as a couple.”

On Feb. 27, she revealed on TikTok she was seven months into her pregnancy while admitting she was nervous about getting stretch marks. The mother-to-be also raved about a skin laser that she claimed “transformed” her skin while pregnant.

The daughter of Lionel Richie has been fairly conservative about showing off her bare belly, unlike other fellow celebrities such as Ireland Baldwin and Lala Kent who proudly posted sans clothes on their social media accounts while expecting.

Instead, Richie has opted to conceal her baby bump with loose-fitting OOTDs and flowy dresses.

During her chat with Vogue, she specifically mentioned she would not buy a closet full of maternity clothes for her pregnancy and planned on “sizing up” as necessary.

She added, “I’ve bought a few pairs of pants in bigger sizes, but I’m wearing my same jackets, sweats and trenches.”
