“My manager, Tommy, he married my husband and I on our first wedding and then on our [vow renewal]. On my 30th birthday, we got married again ’cause that was my request. Every five years, we’re getting married. And he married us again and he’s like the godfather of my kids.”
Trainor and Sabara, 31, exchanged vows in front of 100 guests in the backyard of their Los Angeles home in 2018.
“It’s the beginning of an awesome, whole new life,” she told People at the time. “I got way more than I ever wished for.”
The “Me Too” singer and the “Wizards of Waverly Place” alum went on to welcome two sons: Riley, 3, and Barry, who turns 1 in July.
Trainor admitted to host Drew Barrymore that that she would like to have more children — despite having C-sections with her first two children.
“I’m done but I’m not. I need two more kids,” she confessed. “I want daughters.”
Trainor said she and her husband are “trying to make one” but she’s “been busy.”
The songstress previously detailed her “terrifying” experience giving birth to her first son, who was breech and experienced “breathing issues” after his February 2021 birth.
“It was one of those horror stories where he didn’t cry. He didn’t make noise when he came out. I was like, ‘Why isn’t he crying?’” she said on the “Today” show in June 2021.
“It was terrifying.”
Luckily, Trainor and Sabara were able to take Riley home after five days.
