For fans eagerly anticipating a collaboration among Bollywood’s iconic trio — Shah Rukh Khan, Salman Khan, and Aamir Khan — there’s promising news on the horizon. Aamir Khan, echoing the sentiments of many, recently expressed his desire to share the screen with his colleagues and friends, he was recently seen shaking a leg at Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant’s pre-wedding bash.

In previously unreleased footage from the latest episode of The Great Indian Kapil Show, Aamir responded to a question from an audience member expressing the desire to witness the three stars together in a film. “Aapki aur meri thinking bilkul same hai (Our thinking matches),” he remarked, indicating alignment in their aspirations. Aamir recounted recent meetings with Shah Rukh and Salman, conveying that, given their longstanding careers in the same industry, it would be remiss not to collaborate on a film. He emphasised the importance of such a venture for the audience, suggesting that it’s high time they came together for at least one project. “I recently met Shah Rukh and Salman and told them, ‘Hum teeno ek hi industry mein itne saalon se hain aur yeh audience ke liye kaafi galat hojayega ki career ke is dauran agar hum saath mein ek film na kaaren. Ek film toh banti hai (We have been working in the same industry for so many years and at this juncture of our career, if we didn’t do a film together, it would be unfair to the audience. We must do at least one film together),” he added.

The actor then shared an anecdote about meeting Salman just two days prior, during which the actor gifted him a pair of denims from his Being Human brand, which Aamir sported with gratitude. “The three of us are actively seeking a compelling story and script,” he divulged, highlighting Salman’s consistent generosity in sharing clothes from his label.

In a career spanning over three decades, Aamir has delivered numerous iconic performances, yet he confessed to struggling with his role in Hum Hain Rahi Pyar Ke. Recalling a conversation with Mahesh Bhatt, he revealed his inability to fully connect with the character.  “I couldn’t find the character till the end. I asked Bhatt saab (Mahesh Bhatt) why wasn’t I able to find the character throughout the filming of the movie. He replied, ‘Since your character is lost, it is okay for you not to find him,” revealed the Dangal actor.

Despite discussions surrounding his ageless appearance, the 59-year-old actor disclosed his minimalistic approach to grooming thanking his good genes for his ‘youthful’ look. He admitted to following skincare routines and exercising only as required for film preparations. He humorously reminisced about his pre-acting days, when he had yet to discover the existence of shampoos, opting instead for bar soap to cleanse his hair. “I don’t apply any cream on my face nor do I exercise unless it is for a prep for a film. The funniest thing is that before I forayed into acting, I didn’t know about shampoos. I used soaps to clean my hair,” he added.
