The nation wants to know whether Janhvi Kapoor is dating her rumoured beau Shikhar Paharia or not. However, it seems Janhvi, after soft launching Shikhar on social media and after “accidentally” mentioning that he is on her speed-dial, has now given a more concrete hint, or should we say a ‘diamond-studded’ hint about her dating life.
Janhvi, who stepped out to cheer for her father’s production venture Maidaan, starring Ajay Devgn, on Tuesday, was seen wearing a stunning pantsuit but her eagle-eyed fans spotted her wearing a diamond necklace which had her boyfriend Shikhar’s name on it. It read “Shikhu”, how Janhvi lovingly calls him. See here:

As soon as this video surfaced on social media, Janhvi’s fans were surprised that the actor has confirmed her relationship with Shikhar, the grandson of politician and Maharashtra’s former Chief Minister Sushilkumar Shinde. One fan commented, “Her necklace ??? Is that shiku ??,” another fan responded, “yess, its Shikhu.”

Janhvi’s indirect confession about her love life comes after she accidentally mentioned on Koffee With Karan that “Shiku” was one of the three people on her speed-dial list. Host Karan Johar had asked Janhvi “to name three people on your speed-dial list.” Janhvi promptly replied, “Papa, Khushu and Shiku,” and she then immediately realised that she had given away too much information about her love life.
While Janhvi and Shikhar have been tight-lipped about their relationship, the two of them often appear on each other’s social media and are spotted attending pujas in temples together. In fact, Janhvi’s father, film producer Boney Kapoor recently heaped praises on Shikhar, who is very close to the Kapoor family. Boney, in an interview with Zoom said, “I love him (Shikhar) and in fact, in between a couple of years back Janhvi was not seeing him but I was still friendly to him. I was convinced he can never be an ex. He’ll be around. When any person is there for you in any capacity whether it’s for me, whether it’s for Janhvi, whether it’s for Arjun, he is friendly to all. So I feel we’re blessed to have somebody like him in our set up.”
