Director Chidambaram’s gripping survival thriller Manjummel Boys, starring Soubin Shahir and Sreenath Bhasi in the lead roles, shows no signs of slowing down at the box office even after 47 days since its initial release and continues to consistently break records.

Following the triumph of its original Malayalam version, the Telugu-dubbed edition of Manjummel Boys premiered on Saturday (April 6), receiving overwhelming responses.

The film, which has already emerged as the highest-grossing Malayalam movie of all time, recently made waves in the Telugu market by breaking the record for the highest number of tickets sold on the opening day for a Telugu-dubbed version of a Malayalam film. Mythri Movie Makers, which distributed the film across Andhra Pradesh and Telangana, reported selling as many as 34.47K tickets on Book My Show alone on Day 1.

Following the positive response to the Telugu version, additional screenings have been scheduled in multiplexes across the two Telugu states, with Mythri Movie Makers announcing that the film’s Day 2 numbers doubled compared to its opening day.
