Katrina Kaif and Vicky Kaushal got married in 2021 and while the couple did not utter a word about each other for the many years that they were dating, they can’t stop talking about each other now. Vicky and Katrina recently celebrated their second wedding anniversary and also their second Christmas together. In a new interview, Katrina shared that for her, it was a different experience to introduce her Punjabi in-laws to Christmas lunch.

In a chat with The Quint, Katrina, while promoting her upcoming film Merry Christmas, spoke about her Christmas memories. “For me, Christmas is the holiday I associate most with family. It is that time you enjoy with your family. And I have six sisters so it’s always a lot of fun and noise and I always try to spend that time with my family. Post being married now, the fun part of that was introducing a very traditional Punjabi family to Christmas lunch,” she said.

She shared that none of Vicky’s friends had been to a Christmas lunch before she hosted the first one and now, they look forward to it. “We had our first Christmas last year and I was asking everyone and all of Vicky’s friends that ‘have any of you been to a Christmas party before?’ And they were all saying ‘no, we have never been to a Christmas party before, this is our first Christmas lunch’. It is really nice. Now everyone really looks forward to it,” she said.

Katrina and Vicky come from different cultural backgrounds. He previously described their marriage as ‘parantha weds pancakes’. He shared with News Tak, “Our marriage is paranthas weds pancakes. They are the same only. She loves pancakes, I love paranthas.” He then added, “She also likes paranthas that my mom makes.”

Vicky was last seen in Sam Bahadur and Katrina was recently seen in Tiger 3.
