Vignesh Shivan recently returned from his foreign trip recently and joined his wife Nayanthara and sons Uyir and Ulagam. He took to social media to post an adorable post about how he has been missing his family. Looks like, the couple has immediately gone on a trip to Nayanthara’s native state Kerala. The director took to social media to post a video of their gala time from the streets of Kochi.

In the video, Nayanthara’s friends pretend to be her fans and can be seen admiring her in the banner of a popular jewelry store. They are heard saying that they wish they could meet the actress in person. Vignesh Shivan, the cameraman, pans the frame to Nayanthara who is seen enjoying her ice cream standing next to them. Her friends continue to be in the character and pretend to be shocked.

Ever since Nayanthara made her Instagram debut a few months ago, the couple has been constantly sharing good moments from their life on social media. On Women’s Day, Vignesh shared a picture from their date night and claimed that only Nayanthara and wine have aged well.

After returning from his trip from Malaysia, where he was shooting for his upcoming film Love Insurance Company with Pradeep Ranganathan of Love Today fame, Vignesh Shivan penned an emotional note with pictures of his two sons and Nayanthara. He wrote, “Getting back home to my Uyirs & Ulagams after an unforgettable shooting experience in Singapore & Malaysia! Can’t wait to embrace and take in all the love that’s been waiting at home for weeks together.”

Vignesh Shivan was supposed to direct Ajith Kumar in a film, but before the film’s official launch, the actor backed out of the project. According to Vignesh Shivan, the makers wanted to change the script which led to the shelving of the project.

On the other hand, Nayanthara, who was last seen in the controversial film Annapoorin, will return to the silver screen with Test and Mannangatti In 1960.
