This mom of one feels like a mom of two sometimes.

Brittany Cartwright claimed that her estranged husband, Jax Taylor, didn’t pull his weight in their marriage, which is part of the reason why she decided to leave.

“I’m taking care of my toddler, and I’m also taking care of another toddler named Jax Taylor, because I basically do everything for the household,” Cartwright, 35, savagely told People in an article published Thursday, referring to their 2-year-old son, Cruz.

The “Vanderpump Rules” alum added, “I just want to feel appreciated and want to feel wanted by the person that I’m married to.”

Cartwright also admitted that co-parenting and working together at Taylor’s Los Angeles restaurant and on their podcast, “When Reality Hits With Jax and Brittany,” has been difficult to manage amid their issues.

“It definitely can be challenging,” Cartwright said. “I still love Jax very much, but he is a hard person to deal with, and I think everybody in the world knows that.”

And while she doesn’t know what their relationship status will look like in the future, Cartwright is happy they decided to separate so they are no longer “fighting in front of” Cruz.

“That’s what is most important right now,” she said. “Because that’s why I had to get him out of that situation in the first place.”

Nonetheless, Cartwright wants to remain amicable with Taylor for the sake of their son’s future.

“I’m always feeling the pressure of having to deal with things that are going on with him, and that can be really hard,” she said.

“We’ve got to make money for our future, for our son, for his future. That’s what really matters,” she said. “We’re going to be in each other’s lives no matter what, whether we get back together or we don’t, so I’d rather us be able to be around each other than absolutely hate each other. Let’s just pray it doesn’t get that far.”

Cartwright also explained that she moved out of their home and is living in an Airbnb to “get out of a toxic situation.”

“He just needs to calm down. He’s got a lot of different things that he always puts on me,” she said. “I’m always feeling the pressure of having to deal with things that are going on with him, and that can be really hard.”

The pair — who got married in June 2019 — announced their shocking separation after five years of marriage in February.

“Yes, marriages in general are very hard and I’ve had a particularly rough year this past year,” she said on their podcast. “Jax and I are taking time apart and I made the decision to move into another home to take some space for the sake of my mental health.”

Following their news, speculation swirled that it was a publicity stunt ahead of their new show, “The Valley.”

However, their rep denied the gossip and told that their breakup is “most definitely not PR related in any way.”

“I’m taking things one day at a time. I don’t know what the future holds, but right now my focus is on being the best mom to Cruz,” she said at the time.

This is not the first time that Cartwright and Taylor have faced relationship drama in front of Bravo cameras. Cameras previously caught the aftermath of him cheating on her with cast member Faith Stowers.

Welcoming their son in April 2021 seemingly mellowed things out for the pair and they appeared to have worked through their troubles.

But Cartwright admitted that they were having explosive arguments last summer while filming “The Valley.”

“Whenever we were filming over the summer, we definitely had some blowups,” Cartwright told People, noting, “But I feel like we got worse after the cameras went down.”

Their new reality show premiered on Bravo on March 19 and is expected to capture moments of their unraveling marriage.
