Crew box office collections on day six saw the comedy continuing to do healthy numbers at the box office. On Wednesday, the film, starring Tabu, Kareena Kapoor and Kriti Sanon, clocked Rs 3.25 cr  according to industry tracker Sacnilk.

The film had cruised past the Monday test with no turbulence and found a steady pace at the box office, where it maintained collections above Rs 3 cr mark. After six days, Crew has netted Rs 44cr at the box office and is likely to close the first week anywhere near Rs 47 cr domestically.

The numbers give Crew a solid base to record a massive jump in the second weekend, where it will comfortably cross Rs 60 cr mark all India. The worldwide figures, too, are rock steady for the film as it has surpassed Rs 80 cr globally after Wednesday. Over the second weekend, Crew will cross Rs 100 cr worldwide.

Crew has no competition at the box office and will have another free run, as no new films are set to release this Friday. The Ekta Kapoor-Rhea Kapoor backed comedy has a free run of another seven days before two big Eid releases come in– Akshay Kumar, Tiger Shroff starrer Bade Miyan Chote Miyan and Ajay Devgn headlined. Maidaan.

#Crew is eyeing ₹ 47 cr [or thereabouts] in *Week 1*, an EXCELLENT number… The absence of noteworthy film/s this Friday gives it an open ground to post another solid weekend.

As per trade estimates, Crew is likely to end its India lifetime business in the range of Rs 75-80 cr, which will be a good finish for the film. Post pandemic, Crew is the biggest women-led film and it remains to be seen if it manages to surpass the collections of another Rhea Kapoor-Ekta Kapoor production, Veere Di Wedding.

The 2018 female buddy comedy film, also starring Kareena Kapoor, had done a business of Rs 81 cr India and Rs 138 cr worldwide. Crew will be chasing the numbers in the post pandemic-box office, which has mostly benefited big actioners. Crew is directed by Rajesh Krishnan and also stars Diljit Dosanjh and Kapil Sharma in special roles.
