Actor Kajol’s effervescent personality was obvious from her birthday wish for her husband Ajay Devgn on social media. She wrote a message for Ajay, who is known to be an introvert, and sarcastically mentioned how ‘excited’ he is.
Kajol posted a picture of Ajay and wrote in the caption, “Since I know ur soooooo excited about ur birthday that ur jumping up and down like a kid and clapping ur hands and turning in circles at the thought of your cake … lemme start the day off by wishing u a very very very happy birthday @ajaydevgn.PS:- if anybody has a video of him doing any of this pls send it to me immediately.” Kajol’s post invited birthday wishes from fellow industry colleagues.

Ajay’s next film Maidaan will be released next week. Ajay plays the role of football coach Syed Abdul Rahim in the film, directed by Amit Sharma. Reacting to comparisons being drawn between Ajay’s character and the one played by Shah Rukh Khan in Chak De India, Amit Sharma told India Today in an interview, “As soon as a sports film arrives, people compare these films because of the story of a coach and players. Even before watching the film, people assume that it’s a similar film.”
He added, “There are no similarities between these films, except maybe 22 players are running after one ball on the field. The story is different, the struggle is different. This is also not a sports biopic, it’s the journey of Abdul Rahim. Maidaan is about his emotional journey. Football is just the medium.”
Maidaan, also stars The Family Man actor Priyamani. It is set to release on April 10. Ajay was last seen in Shaitaan, which has made more than Rs 200 crore worldwide.
