IPL Points Table 2024, Team Rankings: Chennai Super Kings (CSK) under their new leader Ruturaj Gaikwad is at the top of the Indian Premier League (IPL) points table.
However, CSK is not alone. Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) and Rajasthan Royals (RR) all have four points each but it is Chennai who are sitting at the top courtesy their better Net Run Rate.
Five-time champions Mumbai Indians (MI) and perennial underachiever Delhi Capitals (DC) are yet to open their accounts after losing both of their matches. The mid-table is quite jam-packed with five teams are with two points each.
Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) and Punjab Kings are the only two sides, who have played three games and they have lost two and won one, respectively.

The playoff scenario
CSK, KKR, RR and Sunrisers Hyderabad are the four sides, who are currently in the top four. The top four teams will qualify for the playoffs. The top two teams will play in the first playoffs, the winner will go straight into the final. The eliminator will be played between teams, who are placed third and fourth. The winner of the eliminator will lock horns against the losing team of playoff one. The winner of the second playoff will enter the final, which will be held at May 26.
Double header Sunday
On Sunday (March 31), Sunrisers Hyderabad will lock horns against Gujarat Titans in the afternoon match, while Delhi Capitals will take on Chennai Super Kings in the second match.
