The Great Indian Kapil Show premiered on Netflix on Saturday. The first episode of the sketch comedy show saw Ranbir Kapoor, Riddhima Kapoor and Neetu Kapoor in attendance. While the Kapoors laughed with Kapil and his team of comedians, they also shared some insights about their personal lives. During the conversation, Neetu praised Ranbir for being a ‘hands-on’ father, which is unlike her husband and late actor Rishi Kapoor. The Barfi actor also admitted that fatherhood has changed him as a person.

Speaking about witnessing a change in Ranbir after becoming a father, Neetu said, “Ranbir has changed a lot after becoming a father. He has become so caring.” Riddhima added, “He is such a lovely, amazing father.”

Kapil Sharma, who welcomed daughter Anayra in 2019, identified with Ranbir Kapoor’s experience and asked him if he enjoyed being a girl’s father. Ranbir called himself ‘blessed’ and said, “I don’t feel like doing anything. I don’t want to shoot, I don’t want to anywhere. I want to sit at home and just look at her. I haven’t felt like this ever in my life. Now I understand how mom used to feel about me and Riddhima.”

Explaining how Ranbir reacts when Raha comes into the room, Neetu said, “His expressions are reserved for cinema. In real life, he doesn’t react that much to things. For the first time, when Raha enters, you should see his face. It’s full of expression. He gets very excited. He is the best father. Alia is a good mother. She is outstanding but he is a hands-on father. I have seen many fathers but I have seen none like him. He is the opposite of his father (Rishi Kapoor). My husband was never very good with children.”

While discussing Raha, Ranbir also revealed that though Raha finds ‘peace’ with Alia, she is always eager to play with him. He also shared that he has changed many diapers but he is Raha’s burp specialist.
