Bollywood actor Alia Bhatt will reportedly host her first charity gala in London on Thursday. Alia was spotted at the airport on Wednesday night and the actor was captured taking a selfie with fans. However, Alia was left smiling and blushing after one of the paps greeted her in a unique way.
In the viral video doing rounds on the internet, Alia was seen rushing towards the airport gate when a paparazzo said, ‘Vahini (sister-in-law) namaskar.’ The actor looked at the camera and smiled, leaving her fans in awe. Fans rushed to the comment section and dropped sweet messages for the actor. One of the fans said, “Missed her cute smile. Finally alia spotted after long time.” Another wrote, “Cutie aloo off to London for hope gala.”

According to Times of India, Harshdeep Kaur, comedian Rohan Joshi and choreographer Usha Jey will perform at the Hope gala. The event will take place at Mandarin Oriental Hyde Park in London. The Hope Gala aims to help Salaam Bombay, the charity chosen by Alia. Salaam Bombay works with kids in Mumbai who need help, teaching them in school to feel better about themselves and do well in studies. Alia also participated in the Met Gala in 2023.

On the work front, Alia recently wrapped the film Jigra opposite Vedang Raina. The upcoming film is helmed by Vasan Bala. Jigra will be released in theatres in September 2024. The actor was last seen in Karan Johar’s Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani. Also starring Ranveer Singh, the film emerged a blockbuster.
