The Los Angeles Super Court has temporarily denied Christine Quinn’s husband Christian Richard’s request for a restraining order against the “Selling Sunset” alum, can exclusively reveal.
According to court records from a hearing Tuesday, the judge issued the denial until another court hearing, which is scheduled for April 17.
“The facts given in the request … do not show reasonable proof of a past act or acts of abuse,” the court documents also state.
has reached out to Quinn’s rep for a response to the ruling but did not immediately hear back.
Richard — whose legal name is Christian Dumontet — claimed in his restraining order request filing that the his wife allegedly lied to police about a recent domestic violence incident that landed him behind bars.
Per court documents we previously obtained, he disputed Quinn’s claim that they got into a heated dispute in which he threw a bag with a glass bottle inside of it but ended up hitting their 2-year-old son.
“Ms. Quinn owns two dogs as pets which she refuses to have house or crate trained,” Richard began in his version of the events.
“As a result, every area of the house is constantly filled with dog feces, the linens are stained with dog urine and are tattered and torn due to the animals’ constant and uncontrolled chewing.”
Aside from arguing about the maintenance of their pets, the real estate business owner claimed he and his reality star spouse had also been having issues surrounding their childcare preferences.
“Ms. Quinn has repeatedly expressed that she wants 24-hour nanny coverage for their son Christian,” he claimed. “Mr. Dumontet feels that is inappropriate for two parents who are constantly with the child and believes the Nanny should leave by 3:00 each day.”
Richard allegedly confronted Quinn, 35, about the dogs urinating on some of his “very valuable” and “sentimental” items on March 19, and when she allegedly refused to clean up the mess, he “grabbed the trash bag from the floor and threw it to the side of the room, against the wall.”
The Real Open owner denied throwing a bag with a glass bottle, alleging there “was no glass in the bag, as there was no broken glass in the room or anywhere in the house.”
Shortly after, Richard said he engaged in a calm conversation with Quinn about their summer plans, and claimed to be blindsided when cops arrived with their guns drawn.
Police confirmed to exclusively on March 20 that they had responded to a call at around 2 p.m. local time the day prior in the Hollywood Hills area of LA relating to a domestic dispute.
In photos we obtained, Richard was seen being escorted into a police vehicle in handcuffs, barefoot and wearing only a bathrobe.
“The suspect threw a bag containing a glass bottle at the victim, missed the victim but hit the victim’s child, causing injury,” the public information officer told us.
A source also added at the time that Quinn’s son, Christian Georges, had to be taken to an emergency room and that the former Netflix star “rode in the ambulance with her son.”
Richard argued in his filing that Quinn “filed a false police report with fabricated allegations of domestic abuse” to “gain an upper hand in potential divorce and custody proceedings.”
Police returned to the couple’s marital home two other times to investigate a possible security breach.
Richard was arrested for a second time just 33 hours after his first arrest for violating a restraining order.
He and Quinn have been married since 2019. Their glamorous nuptials were featured on Season 3 of “Selling Sunset.” She left the hit series ahead of the sixth season.
