The Archies actor Vedang Raina was teased about his relationship status by superstar Amitabh Bachchan when the cast of the Zoya Akhtar film went to the sets of quiz show, Kaun Banega Crorepati. Though the young star said he is single, Bachchan refused to believe him. Meanwhile, rumours of him dating The Archies co-star Khushi Kapoor picked up pace. But in a recent interview, Raina once again clarified that he and Khushi are “just good friends.”
While speaking to Zoom, Raina, who essayed the role of Reggi in the Netflix film, said, “I am single right now. When the time is right, hopefully, that situation will change.” On being asked if the rumours of him dating Khushi are true, Rania replied, “We are really close friends. I have a really strong bond with her. We’ve known each other for so long, and we have connected on many things, starting from our taste in music.”

The actor said that his friendship with Khushi is such that people will always look at them from a different perspective. He added, “Our friendship comes across in a way that people are going to perceive it in certain ways, but nothing more to it.”
Khushi, in the latest promo of Koffee With Karan, also had a quirky response to host Karan Johar’s question about her relationship with Vedang Raina. She said, “You know that scene in Om Shanti Om, where a row of people saying ‘Om and I are just good friends’.”

After gaining attention for his performance in The Archies, Vedang is said to be stormed with film offers. He is said to be a part of Alia Bhatt’s production, Jigra but the actor refuses to comment on it.
