After the success of their 2022 film Hridayam, filmmaker Vineeth Sreenivasan and actor Pranav Mohanlal have reunited for the movie Varshangalkku Shesham. The makers released the upcoming film’s trailer on Thursday. The movie also stars Dhyan Sreenivasan in the lead role, with Aju Varghese, Kalyani Priyadarshan, Neeta Pillai, and Basil Joseph in pivotal roles.
The trailer showcases the friendship between Murali (Pranav) and Venu (Dhyan), who aspire to make it big as actors in the film industry. Moving to Kodambakkam to pursue their dreams, they encounter the harsh realities of the industry. While one of them rises to stardom, the other struggles to find success, leading to a strained relationship.
Mohanlal launched the trailer of Varshangalkku Shesham and wrote, “The much-awaited Malayalam film #Varshangalkkushesham trailer is out now. Releasing worldwide on April 11th, 2024.”
Vineeth Sreenivasan, known for romantic dramas like Thattathin Marayathu (2012) and Hridayam (2022), is venturing into new territory with Varshangalkku Shesham. The film marks his departure from his usual themes of family and friendship. Additionally, Vineeth will be playing a key role in the movie.
Produced by Visakh Subramaniam under the banner of Merryland Cinemas, Varshangalkku Shesham features music and original background score by Amrit Ramnath, cinematography by Viswajith Odukkathil, and editing by Ranjan Abraham. It is set to hit screens on April 11.
