SS Rajamouli and his family experienced an earthquake in Japan during their visit for a special show of RRR. Rajamouli’s son Karthikeya took to Twitter to share his thrilling experience, which seemed like an everyday occurrence to the people of Japan. While the producer was on the verge of panicking, he found the Japanese calm and going about their everyday routine without much fear.
Sharing a photo of the emergency alert about the earthquake from the Japan Meteorological Agency, he wrote, “Felt a freaking earthquake in Japan just now!!! Was on the 28th floor and slowly the ground started to move and took us a while to realise it was an earthquake. I was just about to panic but all the Japanese around did not budge as if it just started to rain!!” The earthquake was of 5.3 magnitude on March 21.

Only recently, Rajamouli shared about the warm welcome he received in Japan. The RRR director shared about an old fan, who presented him with origami of the film. The woman had made thousands of artwork as the film made her happy.
After Rajinikanth films, Rajamouli’s movies like Baahubali and RRR have become a huge hit in Japan. Even the recent special show got filled in an instant.
The director is currently working on the script and post-production of his upcoming film with Mahesh Babu, which is yet to be titled. Earlier, Vijayendra Prasad confirmed that the film will be set in Africa and will be like an Indian Jones adventure.
