Shark Tank India Season 3 is ongoing and so is the tussle. The latest promo of the business reality show features innovative start-up ideas and the ‘sharks’ engaging in a disagreement. The two-minute clip features a customised cosmetic brand, where buyers can make their lipstick “from scratch”, a design company and a saree brand which claims to connect buyers directly with the manufacturers.

The promo rides on the excitement of the pitchers, but one pitcher seems to be the focal point– Design Template founder. “We have 15,000 templates of motion graphics, which include movie trailers, wedding invitations, explainer videos and slide shows among other categories. Our target audience is YouTubers, content creators and designers,” the pitcher says.

A surprised Aman Gupta is seen exclaiming, “Sochte kaise ho ye sab? Itna dimaag kaha se laate ho? It is solid though. You started as an office boy. When you started the pitch, you were shivering, couldn’t talk properly, now you have answers to all our questions.”

The promo then cuts to Peyush Bansal, declaring that he is ready to invest Rs 1 crore in the start-up for 10 per cent equity as well as royalty. But Aman Gupta says he will give him a better offer. “I don’t think you should give royalty to anyone,” he says. Peyush Bansal, however, doesn’t agree. “My belief is that if someone is genuinely investing Rs 1 crore, then to recover that you do need royalty,” he says as the promo then ends with a split screen, with Anupam and Peyush looking at each other.
