Kia ora, good morning and welcome to Newshub's live coverage of the second test between the Blackcaps and Australia at Christchurch's Hagley Oval.
After an eventful second day, New Zealand will resume this morning with a 40-run lead, after Kane Williamson and Tom Latham chased down a 94-run first-innings deficit in the evening session.
Williamson notched up another half century in his 100th test appearance, but it will be up to Latham and newcomer Rachin Ravindra to carry home hopes into the third day.
Certainly, the Blackcaps batters have shown more stickability than their previous three innings against the world test champions and they will want to exceed 200 runs for the first time this series, as they build a defendable lead.
