Another Thursday is around the corner, which means it’s time for a new episode of Koffee With Karan Season 8. Following the appearance of veteran actor Sharmila Tagore and her son Saif Ali Khan on the show, the spotlight now shifts to the Kapoor siblings, Janhvi and Khushi, who are set to grace the Koffee couch this week.
Meanwhile, a promo of the upcoming episode that Disney+ Hotstar unveiled earlier today has already become a hot topic as the sisters can be seen engaging in a candid conversation with host Karan Johar, addressing various rumours associated with their lives. Also, did Janhvi just confirm that she is dating Shikhar Pahariya?
The 72-second promo begins by showing an awkward Janhvi and a confident Khushi, as they grace the couch together for the first time. “Yesterday night, at the party, I was just going around asking people to ask me rapid-fire questions, and Navya (Naveli Nanda) thinks I’m not ready. She’s like, ‘Don’t go’,” Janhvi shared.
During a direct question from Karan about Khushi Kapoor’s alleged relationship with her Archies co-star Vedang Raina, she cleverly sidesteps the query with a humorous reference to a scene from Om Shanti Om, where people claim to be “just good friends with Om”. The promo also features Janhvi Kapoor displaying her mimicking skills by impersonating her uncle Anil Kapoor.

As the rapid-fire round intensifies, Karan puts the sisters in the spotlight with challenging questions. When Khushi is asked to name three of Janhvi’s ex-boyfriends, Janhvi playfully intervenes, stating she has only dated three, and that’s where it ends. A panicked Khushi contemplates naming them, but Janhvi prevents her from revealing names.
Later, Karan quizzes Janhvi about three people on her speed dial. While mentioning her father Boney Kapoor’s name first, a slip of the tongue soon unintentionally discloses a significant secret: “Papa, Khushu and Shikhu (her rumoured boyfriend Shikhar Pahariya),” she says. Janhvi immediately realises she has shared too much, leading to an awkward yet humorous moment, bursting Karan and Khushi into laughter.

Concluding the promo, Karan asks Khushi what a reality show about her family should be called. The Archies actor humorously suggests “the Walmart Kardashians.”
The 11th episode in this season, this conversation will be aired on January 4, 2024. Janhvi, who was last seen in Nitesh Tiwari’s Bawaal, is currently gearing up for the release of Sharan Sharma’s Mr & Mrs Mahi wherein she will share the screen with Rajkummar Rao.
