Pictures and videos from the pre-wedding celebrations of Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant have been inundating our social media timelines for the past few days, and rightly so, as the festivities witnessed the attendance of some of the world’s biggest icons, including pop star Rihanna and cinema legends Shah Rukh Khan, Amitabh Bachchan, Rajinikanth, Aamir Khan, Salman Khan, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and Kajol, among others.

However, amidst the glamour, it was Bollywood’s Baadshah Shah Rukh Khan who stole the spotlight once again. On the final day of the pre-wedding celebrations in Jamnagar, Gujarat, Shah Rukh Khan showcased his charm and charisma, proving once again why he is referred to as the “King of romance”.

As singer Udit Narayan began mesmerising the attendees with a heartening rendition of the song “Main Yahaan Hoon”, from SRK’s widely acclaimed movie Veer-Zaara (2004), directed by Yash Chopra, the star and his wife Gauri Khan got up and entered the dance floor, grooving to the melodious track with endearing steps. While SRK adorned a white outfit, Gauri was seen sporting a shimmery royal blue lehenga, as they danced away romantically, winning the hearts of the attendees and now the netizens too as the video of their dance has since gone viral.

One of Shah Rukh Khan’s all-time chartbuster songs, “Main Yahaan Hoon” is one among the 11 tracks in Veer-Zaara with music based on old and untouched compositions by the late Madan Mohan, revised by his son Sanjeev Kohli.

The pre-wedding festivities had also turned into a stunning event for all as the three Khans of Bollywood – Shah Rukh, Salman, and Aamir Khan – united for a dance performance. In the video of their performance, Salman, Shah Rukh, and Aamir are initially seen attempting to master the complicated hook step of “Naatu Naatu,” but couldn’t quite get it right, which led to some playful teasing from SRK. Salman retaliated with his towel dance from “Jeene Ke Hai Char Din,” followed by SRK dancing to “Jhoome Jo Pathaan.” Then, Salman returned with “Dhinka Chika,” while Aamir showed SRK and Salman his steps from “Apni Toh Paathshala.” They even did SRK’s famous pose together.

SRK also took on the role of host at Saturday’s sangeet night and, dressed entirely in black, he stepped onto the stage and greeted the audience with “Jai Shree Ram” before proceeding to introduce members of the Ambani family.
