Actor Jackie Chan and BTS’ V recently collaborated for an advertisement of the Indonesia-based securities company SimInvest. The 63-second ad shows them sitting together at a fancy restaurant. It also features V dancing and Jackie teaching him some kung-fu moves. V even introduced Jackie as his ‘best friend with no limits’.
The ad opens with Jackie calling V and saying, “Hey man it’s me. Long time.” V then talks about freedom and the duo are then seen seated at a restaurant. V and Jackie then dance together and the singer also taught the action star some cool moves. The official synopsis of the ad read, “The long-awaited time has finally come!”
Fans on the internet could not contain their excitement and took to the comments section of the video to express their astonishment. One of the fans wrote, “V and Jackie Chan best collaboration for 2024.” Another commented, “Jackie Chan and V are marvelous combination….. Very much happy to see our childhood hero back!!”

V is currently in the military, fulfilling his mandatory service like all South Korean men. V revealed that he now weighs 72.5 kg, compared to his previous weight of 62 kg before enlisting. All the BTS members, including RM, Jin, Suga, J-Hope, Jungkook, and Jimin, are currently serving in the military. Before starting their military duties, each member released solo albums. The group is all set to reunite in 2025.
