In the upcoming episode of Shark Tank India, an entrepreneur left the investors on the show stunned as he revealed that he has been providing top-end beauty services to women at minimal prices. ‘Sharks’ Aman Gupta, Namita Thapar, Vineeta Singh, Anupam Mittal and Deepinder Goyal grilled the businessman about his business, but Vineeta seemed unsure about the growth of his business.
The founder of the beauty brand Be U Natural initially impressed the ‘sharks’ with his pitch. He shared that while women spend up to Rs 10,000 on beauty services like smoothening, keratin and others, his company provides such services at a nominal price of Rs 2000. He claimed that his company does Keratin hair treatment for Rs 999 and waxing for Rs 49. His claims left Namita shocked.

Vineeta asked the pitcher about the earnings of his business. He replied, “In off-season, around Rs 10-11 lakh.” As Anupam asked him about his previous year’s sales, he revealed his company earned Rs 2.46 crore.

Despite the impressive pitch, Vineeta told the owner of Be U Natural, “Metros mein Rs 49 ka threading and waxing, ye toh P&L kabhi nahi work kar sakti (This would never work).”
The current season of Shark Tank India has a new set of investors, including Deepinder Goyal, Azhar Iqubal, Ritesh Agarwal, Radhika Gupta, Varun Dua and Ronnie Screwvala. The show streams on SonyLIV.
