Many have been lauding the kid’s sweet gesture and calling him cute for singing this song. Dunki was recently released on Netflix India and was trending in terms of its viewership on the platform. Even when the film was released in theatres on the big screen, many were left impressed with the movie’s concept. Others also pointed out the amazing performances that Taapsee Pannu, Vicky Kaushal, and Shah Rukh Khan had delivered.

Though Dunki did not emerge as successful as Pathaan and Jawan did at the box office, the film went on to collect around Rs 450 crores globally. While the film performed decently in terms of business, it was quite a fulfilling experience for its actors. Taapsee Pannu had even spoken at length about working with Shah Rukh Khan.

During an interview with Connect FM Canada, Taapsee said, “Just like Bachchan sir, Shah Rukh sir loves to rehearse. He likes to rehearse a scene to the point that he is one with the dialogue and it becomes a part of his muscle memory. He is a theatre actor who became a film actor. So his way is more like going about rehearsing. And he is a trained actor also so our methods are quite the opposite. Even another female actor might never get the opportunity to work in such a commercial film, which is a love story with Shah Rukh Khan. This was once in a lifetime.”

She had even recalled her first scene with SRK and shared how she ‘zoned out mid-take’. “I remember the first day when I had to look at him and perform, I would just zone out mid-take. Because what I am seeing in front of my eyes is the same visual that I have seen on the big screen for years, so I had to mentally shake myself up and bring myself back.”
