On the latest episode of the third season of Shark Tank India, a unique pitch caught the sharks’ attention. An entrepreneur, who specialises in face yoga, claimed that her products serve as an alternative to plastic surgery. Judges Aman Gupta, Namita Thapar, Anupam Mittal, Vineeta Singh, and Amit Jain grilled the pitcher for the poor packaging of her products, and were left disappointed after listening to her recent revenues and plans for the future.

Vibhuti Arora, the founder of House of Beauty India, initially impressed the sharks with her innovative and ‘confident’ pitch. She started the company in 2018 alongside FaceYoga School. Vibhuti explained her brand’s strengths, adding that her skincare products are natural and provide an alternative to plastic surgery.

Additionally, she shared that House of Beauty India offers over 100 natural skincare products, 30 face yoga-based facials, and has 150 certified face yoga teachers globally. However, despite answering a series of questions from the sharks, Vibhuti was unable to secure a deal. Vibhuti Arora’s proposal sought Rs. 1.5 crore for a 5% equity stake. According to the founder, the company’s valuation stood at approximately Rs 30 crore.

The sharks also suggested that the founder return in Shark Tank India Season 4 with improvements to the company’s model. Vineet said, “My feedback is your skincare products packaging is very disappointing compared to everything else around the brand.” Namita explained that her products don’t stand out and said that she is out of the deal.

After the pitcher explained the numbers and profit, Aman said, “You are taking the business in two directions. You can come back in season four, but for now, unfortunately I am out.”

This season, Deepinder Goyal, Azhar Iqubal, Ritesh Agarwal, Radhika Gupta, Varun Dua and Ronnie Screwvala have joined the panel of sharks.
