Prince Harry has broken his silence after visiting his cancer-stricken father, King Charles III, earlier this month.
“Look, I love my family,” the Duke of Sussex told news correspondent Will Reeve during an interview on “Good Morning America” Friday.
“The fact that I was able to get on a plane and go and see him and spend any time with him, I’m grateful for that.”
Reeve asked Harry, 39, whether Charles’ diagnosis could help reunite the family, to which the renegade royal responded, “Absolutely. Yeah, I’m sure.”
“Throughout all these [Invictus Games] families, I see it on a day-to-day basis the strength of the family unit coming together,” he shared.
“I think any illness, any sickness brings families together.”
Harry added that he already has upcoming plans to travel back to the UK.
“I’ll stop in and see my family as much as I can,” Harry said.
Charles, 75, announced on Feb. 5 that he had cancer after undergoing a hospital procedure for benign prostate enlargement.
“His Majesty has today commenced a schedule of regular treatments, during which time he has been advised by doctors to postpone public-facing duties,” Buckingham Palace said in a statement.
“Throughout this period, His Majesty will continue to undertake State business and official paperwork as usual.”
Harry immediately hopped on a jet to the UK and rushed to be by his father’s side while his wife, Meghan Markle, remained in their Montecito, Calif., home with their two children: Prince Archie, 4, and Princess Lilibet, 2.
The redheaded royal visited his dad at Clarence House for under an hour and swiftly returned back to the US the next day.

Tensions have been high between the father-son duo since Harry and Markle, 42, resigned from their royal duties in 2020.

The couple proceeded to give several interviews bashing the royal family, and Harry also criticized his dad and brother, Prince William, in his scathing “Spare” memoir.
Harry has kept his distance from his royal relatives, only returning with Markle for Queen Elizabeth II’s funeral in September 2022 and on his own for Charles’ coronation ceremony last May.
Still, Charles has seemingly left the door open for reconciliation with his son. Sources claimed this month that the monarch is desperate to mend their relationship, and the duo showed signs of burying the hatchet when the Sussexes had a phone call with the king on his 75th birthday last November.
Charles appeared to be in good spirits when he was spotted out with his wife, Queen Camilla, a day after announcing the shocking cancer news.
He also thanked his supporters for sending well-wishes his way.
Charles’ cancer was reportedly caught “very early” and his prognosis is said to be “good.”
